for Children/Youth who are not eligible for Medicaid in Thurston County.

Same referral form can be used for Medicaid or Non-Medicaid eligible children/youth and for any one of the three programs listed below.

WISe for Transition Age Youth at Community Youth Services for ages 15 - 20.
Multisystemic Therapy (MST) at Community Youth Services for ages 12 - 17.

in the
Transition Age Youth WISe Program
Transition Age Youth (TAY) for ages 15-20 for WISe at Community Youth Services has openings. This is for Medicaid eligible youth living in Mason and Thurston counties who prefer youth guided treatment. Referrals especially welcome for 18-20 year olds.

WISe providers are using both telehealth and in-person methods of delivering service and are sensitive to youth/family needs.

About WISe
Wraparound with Intensive Services is designed to provide comprehensive behavioral health services and supports to Medicaid eligible children/youth 20 years of age and under, with complex behavioral health needs and their families. WISe services include access to psychiatric services and in-home therapy. Youth and families will still be using the wraparound process.

Screening
All requests for WISe will be reviewed by the WISe Coordinator/Designee and routed to the appropriate WISe agency for an initial Screening using the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths or CANS.
MTWI Non-Medicaid Referrals
MTWI has limited space for youth who are not Medicaid eligible. This includes children/youth who are considered Non-Medicaid (private insurance or no insurance). Follow the same instructions on the referral form (above) for sending your referral in to be processed.

Mason and Thurston counties. We believe that the wraparound process promotes
parent empowerment and the use of natural supports, opens doors to
service collaboration and creates opportunities for children/youth to be successful
in their communities and schools.

Ombuds
If you are receiving publicly funded and/or Medicaid behavioral health services (mental health or substance use disorder) and have an issue with your provider or a previously authorized service was denied, reduced, suspended or terminated you are entitled to Ombuds services. Ombuds services are free and confidential. Ombuds is functionally independent.
